There are a ton of bakers out there, selling a ton of “gourmet cookies” – and I’m sure their cookies are very tasty. Personally, I would not consider myself the typical baker. I can’t even make my own pie crust. So who am I? I’m a happily married, stay at home mom of a 3 year old son living in Pittsburgh PA. And, I just happen to make really great cookies. My cookies are famous with my family and friends. However, it wasn’t until my former 81 year old neighbor ate one, that I knew my cookies were really special. He had been married to his wife for many, many years. And she was the type of wife that could bake.
